You spoke, we listened

Thank you to everyone who completed our short customer survey. We received loads of really useful feedback which will shape our products, website, and newsletter for months. Here is a rundown of the main themes and how we plan to respond.

  1. Everyone loves an Italian dessert

And why not?! There’s so much to love. Tiramisu and cannoli were particularly popular. In response we’ve added a cannoli kit to the online shop and included our famous tiramisu recipe in the newsletter. More dessert-based news coming soon!

  1. More recipes

We hear you, more recipes in the newsletter! From now on we’ll be including a recipe in every newsletter and a top pasta tip. The only challenge we have is deciding whose version of the recipe is definitive. The debate usually hinges on whether you come from the North of Italy or the South!

  1. How long does your pasta stay fresh?

This depends on where your pasta is being delivered to. If you live in London then you receive super fresh pasta which is excellent for up to five days (though it can always go in the freezer). If you are outside London then your pasta has been pasteurised to last longer, don’t worry it’s a completely natural process which just uses steam. Pasteurised plain pasta will last for 10 days, filled pasta for 15.

To help make this more clear we have added this guidance to the checkout. Also, if you live in London but want a longer-lasting pasta then you can select the ‘pasteurised’ option when checking out, or you can pop your pasta in the freezer at home.

  1. New pasta fillings

Thanks to everyone who suggested new pasta fillings. Some of them were fantastic and we’re already working on adding them to our autumn range. Watch this space!

  1. How to claim your 10% discount

When signing up to our newsletter you should automatically receive your discount code by email. Sometimes email providers block automatic emails or send them to your spam folder. If you are unable to recover your discount code then please email marketing@latuapasta.com using the subject line ‘MY DISCOUNT’ and a member of the team will help you.
