To spice up this Gnocchi alla Sorrentina even further, we decided to season it with our Arrabbiata Sauce which adds a delightful kick to this beloved classic. The sweetness of the tomatoes harmonises perfectly with the tanginess heat of the chilli, creating a unique flavour when combined.

As with the original recipe, we sprinkle a generous dusting of Parmigiano Reggiano to add the finishing touch to this extraordinary alternative classic dish.

– Boil the Gnocchi in a saucepan filled with 2.5 litres of salted boiling water for 3-4 minutes. 

– While the pasta is cooking, place the Arrabbiata sauce in a saucepan and gently simmer on a low heat.

– Once the sauce is thoroughly hot, use a slotted spoon to add the Gnocchi, making sure that some of the starchy pasta water gets into the pan with the sauce.

– Gently coat the gnocchi with the Arrabiata Sauce, plate and garnish with a generous sprinkle of Parmigiano Reggiano.

Pasta (78%): Puree, Water. Potato Puree contains: Milled Potato Flakes (Potato, Emulsifier: E471(Palm Free), Antioxidant: Sodium Metabisulphite (E223), Spices, Vegetable Extracts) (70%), Starch (Corn, Wheat), Salt, Flour (Wheat), spices. Filling (22%): Mozzarella Cheese (Pasteurised cow’s (Milk), Salt (NaCI), Microbial Rennet, Lactic Ferments) (75%), Marinated slow roasted Tomatoes (Tomatoes, Sunflower Oil, Salt, Garlic, Oregano) (24%), Basil, Black Pepper. Dusted with rice flour.
