Celebrated Italian chef Giorgio Locatelli’s dishes are all about using the freshest, highest–quality produce, as reflected in his own Locadeli olive oil. After being carefully picked, the olives are washed and milled within hours to ensure they don’t bruise, oxidise or ferment. The result is a deliciously rich olive oil with spicy notes and a strong vegetable undertone. The oil has been selected for its fragrant, rich and spicy flavour, aided by the mature orchards on grown on a Sicilian estate, where the age of the olive trees ranges from 20 to 50 years old. The notes of cut grass, tomato and artichoke make it an ideal accompaniment to grilled meats and cheeses. Perfect for dressings, or just on its own with plenty of crusty bread.
