Trofie with Fresh Genovese Pesto
Italians love pasta all year round and in the sunnier months often combine fresh flavours like Genovese Pesto and cherry tomatoes. This recipe invites the aromas of an Italian summer into your home throughout the year. We’ve paired up our core ingredients for you, all you need is 150g of fresh cherry tomatoes to make this Trofie & Fresh Genovese salad. Check the description for the details of this delicious recipe.
About Trofie with Fresh Genovese Pesto

Once opened consume within 3 days.
Pasta suitable for Freezing. Freeze on day of purchase and consume within 1 month, cook from frozen.
In a large saucepan add 1 litre of salted water for every 100g of pasta. For 250g of pasta add 2.5 litres of water
Bring the water to a gentle boil and put in the Trofie. Cook for 3–4 minutes depending on preference
Whilst the pasta is cooking, half the tomatoes. Add them to a large bowl with the Pesto and 2 tablespoons of pasta water.
Once cooked, drain the pasta and place it directly into your tomato and pesto medley, add a drizzle of olive oil and combine.
