Panettone Classico
£30.00
Artisan Panettone Classico, handmade by the Barbero family who spent decades searching for the finest ingredients to enrich their traditional Italian family recipe. This Panettone is made with stone-ground wheat flour, Calabrian orange skins, which are harvested and peeled by hand, along with Madagascar vanilla and honey obtained by the nectar of acacia flowers, collected by bees in the woods of the Tuscan hills. It is rounded out with a dash of sea salt and Australian raisins “5 Corone”, a fine variety of raisins grown in the south of Australia. However – the true secret to great Panettone is sourdough. Barbero’s “mother yeast” was created many years ago, wrapped in cloth and refreshed three times a day as Milanese tradition dictates. This Panettone is exclusively made by the house of Barbero and is individually wrapped and delivered in an elegant metal box.

About Panettone Classico
The elegance of a timeless historical Italian brand and the authenticity of a panettone comes from the best raw materials and from the use of natural mother yeast. Tied in a towel and refreshed three times a day as true Milanese tradition dictates.
The same sourdough has been used for more than seventy years, every day, 365 days a year, to make Panettone Barbero. And it takes three days to make one Panettone.
To create their exquisite chocolates and torrone, D. Barbero has spent decades searching for the finest ingredients and building on their traditional family recipes while constantly innovating – all in the hunt for confectionary perfection.
