Our Artisan Tortelloni are hand folded one by one to incorporate more filling. The pasta has a very high Free Range egg percentage (30%) and we use a special blend of 00 and Durum Wheat flour so that the pasta holds the cooking very well. This tasty filling is made using Summer Black Truffles from the Umbria region in Italy. This filling becomes smooth and balanced using a base of delicate and creamy cheeses. Try it with simple Oil and cheese or with a mushroom sauce. A real treat for all truffle lovers! Suitable for Vegetarians. Suitable for freezing

Storage Instuctions

Keep refrigerated below 5C.
Once opened consume within 3 days.
Suitable for Freezing. Freeze on day of purchase and consume within 1 month, cook from frozen.

Ingredients

Pasta (56%): Flour 00 (Wheat), Pasteurised Free Range Egg (30%), Durum Wheat Flour, Salt, Water. Filling (44%): Ricotta cheese (Milk), Mascarpone Cheese (Milk), Italian grated cheese (Milk, Salt, Vegetarian Rennet, Preservative: EggLysozyme), Black Truffle Cream (7%) (Black Truffle-Tuber Aestivum (80%), Water, Truffle Juice, Salt, Natural Truffle Flavouring);Dusted with rice flour.

Cooking Instructions

Bring 2 litres of water and a pinch of salt to the boil in a large pot. (You will need 2 litres for every 250g of pasta);
Add the pasta and cook for 3-4 minutes for fresh pasta, or 4 – 5 minutes for frozen pasta;
Drain and serve with parmesan and olive oil, or with your favourite sauce.
