Artisan Spicy Sausage Ragu – Ragu’ di Salsiccia Calabrese (300g)
Calabria (the “toe” of the boot-shaped Italian peninsula) is famed for its cuisine featuring fiery chillies, fennel seeds, and pork. These flavours are united in the creation of our fresh Spicy Sausage Ragu, made from the pork of the famed black pigs of Calabria, reared in the Pollino mountains under strict animal welfare standards, along with locally sourced fennel seeds and chillies to add just the right amount of heat we slowly cook our recipe for 2 hours to give you an Italian slow cooked Ragu’. The taste is enhanced by the addition of white wine, extra virgin olive oil, rosemary and onions. No preservatives, colourants, or flavour enhancers are added to our fresh sauces, we hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
