Our Artisan Tortelloni is hand-folded one by one to incorporate more filling. The pasta has a very high free-range egg percentage (30%) and we use a special blend of 00 and durum wheat flour so that the pasta holds the cooking very well. It’s filled with slow-cooked beef which is marinated in red wine and then slowly braised to ensure the most incredible melt-in-your-mouth texture. This dish includes both fresh Tortelloni and Sage Butter for 1-2 people

About Slow Cooked Beef & Red Wine Tortelloni with Sage Butter

Fresh: Cook for 4-5 minutes in salted boiling water
Frozen: Cook for 5-6 minutes in salted boiling water

    1. Bring approx. 2.5 litres of salted water to a boil.
    2. Add the Tortelloni and cook for 4-5 minutes, depending on preference.
    3. Place the Sage Butter into a frying pan on low heat and gently melt.
    4. Add the Tortelloni to your butter sauce using a slotted spoon, making sure some of the starchy pasta water makes it into the melted butter. Stir carefully until all the pasta is well coated.
    5. Plate and serve with a sprinkle of Parmigiano Reggiano.

Sage Butter: Unsalted butter (95%) (Milk), Sage (5%).
