Orecchiette Pasta with Tomato Sauce

Our fresh Orecchiette pasta is a small ear-shaped pasta that originates from the southern region of Italy, specifically Puglia. These small concave discs with a slight thickness that give them a satisfying chewy texture when cooked and are vegan-friendly.

When served with our fresh Tomato Sauce it provides a flavorful coating for the pasta, feel free to add in your favourite veg for a balanced delicious meal or leave out the Parmigiano to make this dish vegan/vegetarian friendly.

This simple yet flavorful dish is a classic Italian comfort food that is loved by many.

Orecchiette Pasta


Artisan Tomato Sauce - Sugo Al Pomodoro (300g)


Prepare: No prep needed
Cooking: 5-6 mins

Boil the Orecchiette in about 2.5 litres of salted water for 4-5 minutes.
In a separate frying pan, gently simmer your Tomato Sauce and add 3 tablespoons of the starchy pasta water.
Drain the Orecchiette and add into the Tomato Sauce. Toss together for 1 extra minute.
Finish the dish with a drizzle of olive oil and a generous sprinkle of Parmigiano Reggiano.
