Orecchiette is a kind of homemade pasta typically made on the backstreets of Puglia by women in their seventies, eighties, and nineties. Its name translates to “little ears”, a nod to its distinctive, earlobe-like shape. Much like the ingredients of the women Pasta Grannies film, our orecchiette is made only with premium Italian durum wheat flour and is suitable for vegans*.This authentic Southern-style pasta shape is traditionally served with fresh vegetables, or one of nonna’s favourite ragù.
This product is the result of a special partnership between us and Pasta Grannies, a team filming and documenting Italian grandmothers and preserving their regional pasta-making traditions through food and storytelling for over a decade. Together, we’ve created a limited-edition range that celebrates the heart of Italian home cooking – authentic, timeless, and proudly Nonna approved.
